I have not a shred of doubt that your furniture will stay with us for life and will serve us just as the rocker has for the past 13 years (by the way, it looks better with time). And the way we got here, you and us, was a rewarding experience. It is not just a table and four chairs one can buy somewhere off the shelf; it’s a member of the household now.

On a lighter note, thanks for the circles around the screws on the crating. They made the unpacking much easier. And it is a pity that you could not see those who passed by when I was undoing the crating: obviously, I had to do it in the street as there was no way of carrying the wooden box up a flight of stairs that separates the street from our door. Nobody asked the question but I could unmistakably read it in their faces: what on earth can possibly be inside?

Sure, do use any of my quotations although your furniture needs no advertising.

Austin, it was a real pleasure. Please do extend my regards to your father and our thanks to everyone who worked on those items.

Thanks for reaching out. Your family and team’s work is art as far as we are concerned. It’s a privilege to have it in our lives.
I bought that rocking chair for my wife when we were having our first baby. We lived in a 700SF apartment with our new baby, in a new place, with me gone Mon-Fri preparing to go to war.

After 3 babies, a war, 8 addresses in 8 years, grad school for both of us, we finally live in a much more stable “white picket fence” American Dream now, but that rocking chair sits proudly as the only thing left from that 1st apartment. Also, that first baby girl, now a senior in high school, has claimed the chair for all family movie nights.

Carried a magazine clipping of your Rocker in my wallet for several years. In 2004 my first grandson was on the way so I pulled out the clipping and ordered a Walnut Rocker. Grandson leaves for college at University of Tennessee next month. Still love that Rocker.

Nineteen years ago, I received a cherry Weeks Rocker as a gift when my youngest was born. Unsurprisingly, it has become my most cherished piece of furniture, and the one most admired by others who visit my home. I have long wanted to add a matching footstool to it, and the time has come!
